Desired Experience & Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in the state of Illinois
- Eligibility for, or holding, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in early childhood or school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
- Commitment to in-person service; hybrid and remote arrangements are not available
- This position does not accept SLPAs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans for early childhood students
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services tailored to each child’s needs
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to create holistic approaches for learner success
- Maintain detailed records of progress, provide reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and collaborate with families and teachers to support student growth outside of therapy sessions
