Scheduling is ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance—you are required onsite from 8am-3pm three days per week. While attendance on Wednesdays is essential, the other two days offer flexibility based on your availability. The assignment runs from August 12, 2025, through May 15, 2026, aligning with the academic calendar for a predictable schedule.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- Valid SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Skilled at supporting students with a range of learning disabilities
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to a high school caseload of 25 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families and staff
- Offer consultation and strategies to educators to support student communication needs
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
