Step into a rewarding contract position supporting high school students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll work three days a week from 8am-3pm, with Wednesday attendance required and flexibility for the other two days. The role focuses on a caseload of approximately 25 high school students, each with various learning disabilities, offering a chance to use your expertise in a focused, impactful environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs for students with a range of communication needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct SLP services to a diverse high school caseload
- Administer assessments, develop goals, and track student progress
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and follow all compliance requirements
- Support student participation and success in the educational environment
