School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Matteson, Illinois

In this onsite-only role, you’ll provide direct services for a manageable caseload of 25 students, each with unique learning disabilities. The schedule offers a blend of structure and flexibility—Wednesday attendance is required, while the additional two days are yours to choose, all within regular school hours, 8am to 3pm. This contract begins August 12th, 2025, and runs through May 15th, 2026.
What we're looking for:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Illinois
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school setting, especially with high school students, is highly desired
- Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and the ability to tailor interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to performing all services onsite—remote or hybrid work options are not available

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct speech-language services and collaborate with teachers and staff to support learning goals
- Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and engage with families and educational teams
