What we’re seeking:
- Valid SLP-CCC credential, with eligibility for all required Illinois licensure (PEL)
- Demonstrated experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong understanding of the needs of students with specific learning disabilities
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive within a multidisciplinary team
In this role, you will:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 35 high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support continued student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure accurate, timely documentation
- Adapt interventions and strategies to promote academic and social success
Position highlights:
