A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a school setting located in Richton Park, IL. This role offers an opportunity to provide critical support to high school students with speech and language needs, primarily serving those with specific learning disabilities. The assignment runs from the start date ASAP through May 27th.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 35 high school students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all applicable state and district requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with high school students, especially those with specific learning disabilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Caseload composed mainly of students diagnosed with specific learning disabilities, not intellectual disabilities.
