This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist passionate about supporting PreK-2nd grade students’ communication development. Working 2-3 days a week, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to help each child reach their fullest potential.
Skills and Experience Sought:
- Current certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state
- Experience in school-based settings supporting students with diverse abilities
- Familiarity with pediatric therapy, including PreK-2nd grade caseloads
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
- Experience with teletherapy, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and/or as an SLPA a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in small groups or individually, both onsite and virtually as appropriate
- Draft, review, and update IEPs to reflect student progress and needs
- Work alongside general educators and staff to foster inclusive, supportive classrooms
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress through evidence-based practices
- Adjust interventions and collaborate with school teams and families for best student outcomes
This contract role offers a pay range of $45-60 per hour for qualified candidates, reflecting your expertise and commitment to student success.
