Step into a pivotal role supporting young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist working with PreK–2nd grade students. This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact just 2–3 days a week, focusing on children with diverse communication needs in an inclusive school environment.
Utilize your expertise in speech-language pathology to enhance student outcomes through individualized education plans, collaborative strategies, and evidence-based interventions. Engage with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state certification in Speech Language Pathology
- Comprehensive experience in school-based settings, preferably with PreK–2nd grade
- Familiarity with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Experience working with children who have a range of learning or communication differences
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services
- Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions tailored to each student’s needs
- Track and assess student progress, regularly updating goals and strategies in response to changing requirements
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to foster inclusive and supportive settings
- Document sessions and growth as required by state and school guidelines
