Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Chicago Heights, IL

This full-time position offers 35 hours per week and welcomes candidates who have either their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed. Essential qualifications and experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in hand is required
- Experience or specialized training in pediatric speech-language therapy
- Comfortable working in school environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, and collaborative IEP development
- Open to SLPs holding CCC or those currently completing CFY
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to early learners
- Assessing student needs and creating individualized treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Actively participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with staff and families
- Fostering an engaging, inclusive environment that supports student growth
