Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Georgia SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility for state licensure
- Experience working with school-aged children, including evaluation, intervention, and IEP development
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt interventions for individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using a range of standardized and informal tools
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group sessions
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Offer strategies and resources to classroom staff for integrating communication goals across school settings
