Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active licensure as an SLP in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also welcome
- Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy and collaboration
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students who would benefit from speech and language services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions both one-on-one and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
- Contribute to IEP meetings and document progress in accordance with district requirements
- Offer guidance, strategies, and support for classroom integration
