Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Experience working in K-12 schools is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Professional, collaborative approach with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement personalized speech-language therapy interventions
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise in multidisciplinary team settings
- Provide education on communication strategies to staff and caregivers as needed
