Qualifications:

  • SLPA license or certification in the state of Connecticut
  • Experience or familiarity with K-5 or grades 6-12 student populations
  • School-based SLP/SLPA experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse school cultures and student needs

Role Details & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support services to 5-7 students per location, collaborating closely with supervising SLPs
  • Deliver high-quality speech and language interventions in either Manchester (K-5) or Bloomfield (grades 6-12) campuses
  • Document progress, assist with assessments, and contribute to IEP development
  • Engage positively with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment from ASAP to mid-June (end of school year), full time (30-40 hours/week)
