Qualifications for this role include:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress reporting, and collaborating with educational staff
Your responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Serve as a resource to teachers and parents regarding student progress and strategies
- Document services provided, progress notes, and maintain required school and legal compliance
- Contribute to IEP meetings and share insights for student success
- Adapt therapy techniques to support diverse student needs and learning styles
