Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but exceptional Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with school-aged children, including evaluation and therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Solid understanding of IEP process and best practices in a school-based setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students as needed
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans in line with each child’s IEP
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success across learning environments
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and interventions in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear input regarding students’ speech and language needs
- Offer resources and training to teachers and families to help facilitate communication goals
