Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license and ASHA CCCs or eligibility
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings is highly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Flexibility to manage a diverse caseload with a collaborative approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students as needed
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on student needs and progress
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support communication development both inside and outside the classroom
