Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license or eligibility for state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs may be considered
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with students, families, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with district and state regulations
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school functions as needed
