Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous school-based experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and engage with students of diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in line with district and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the broader educational strategy
