Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFs considered
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of IEP process and legal compliance
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Administer and interpret assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and maintain thorough documentation
- Provide consultation and resources for classroom teachers
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
