Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Experience working in K-12 school settings is valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech and language therapy to school-aged students
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support the whole child
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
- Adapt therapy techniques to maximize student engagement and progress
