Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across various grade levels
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to the support team
- Offer guidance and resources for classroom strategies and accommodations
- Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
