Qualifications and Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Solid communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt strategies for varied learning needs and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy services for students with communication, speech, or language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, aligned with IEP goals
- Monitor progress and document outcomes using thorough, timely records
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to share strategies for communication support in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting, planning, and ongoing evaluation
- Provide support and resources to staff and families, fostering an inclusive learning environment
