In this contract position, you’ll provide expert services as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or Clinical Fellow) in a dynamic, collaborative school environment. Your expertise will help young learners build critical communication skills necessary for academic and personal success.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
- Hold or be eligible for licensure from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or status as a Clinical Fellow (CF) considered
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Dedication to collaborative work within multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students in alignment with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate records, and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Work closely with teachers, families, and school support staff to ensure comprehensive student care
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable professional insights
- Provide education, guidance, and support to classroom staff as needed to foster a communicative and inclusive environment
Contract Details:
- Start as soon as possible, with the assignment continuing through June 18, 2027
- Work up to 34 hours each week, aligning with the school’s academic calendar
- Caseload focuses exclusively on elementary students
