Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Current Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
- License or eligibility for licensure from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) strongly preferred (Clinical Fellows considered)
- Experience with elementary student populations in school settings preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Duties:
- Provide speech and language assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for an elementary caseload
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
