Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current or eligible Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
- Eligibility or current licensure with the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification; those completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but Clinical Fellows with strong clinical rotations will be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and evaluations for students in the elementary population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students’ needs and educational goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy, supporting student communication, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic language development
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student growth and meaningful participation in the classroom
- Maintain diligent and timely documentation, progress monitoring, and data-driven reporting
