Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or ability to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable conducting assessments and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Compassion, patience, and the enthusiasm to foster student progress
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs and educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Document assessments, interventions, and progress in compliance with school guidelines
- Provide direct therapy sessions both individually and in group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
