Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings preferred
- Proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems, especially PECS
- Compassionate communicator comfortable working one-on-one with students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to a 20-year-old student utilizing AAC for communication
- Plan and deliver engaging, individualized interventions targeting the student’s unique communication goals
- Collaborate with caregivers and staff to support progress and generalization of skills
- Document sessions and progress in line with school/district requirements
This assignment runs June 8–26 and July 13–31, with one hour of service required each week between 9am and 3pm.
