Pediatric Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in RI
A part-time speech-language pathologist opportunity is available to provide telespeech therapy services for a homebound student during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position involves working remotely with the student two times per week, delivering sessions lasting approximately 45 minutes each.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Designing and implementing targeted therapy plans for pediatric clients
- Delivering teletherapy services with a focus on effective communication and engagement
- Collaborating with educational and healthcare professionals to support the student's progress
- Maintaining detailed clinical documentation and progress reports as required
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Current SLP certification and eligibility to practice in the state of Rhode Island
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services, including working with homebound students
- Competency in teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
Location: Remote services for a student based in Providence, RI, with scheduling flexibility two days per week.
