Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current, active state speech-language pathology license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood or elementary settings, is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and school-based therapy models
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable managing diverse caseloads and adapting therapy to varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students in grades K–12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary support teams
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide education and strategies to classroom staff and families to reinforce student progress
