Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credentials with CCC required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based environments
- Background working with life skills programs is strongly preferred
- Expertise in feeding and swallowing strategies (safe eating protocols)
- Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) solutions
- Ability to effectively support students with a variety of needs, including those with higher behavioral requirements
- Excellent teamwork skills, comfortable collaborating virtually and in-person
Your role will offer a caseload of approximately 33 students, with half of your week spent at a campus focused on special education and life skills, and the other half at a campus designed for socialization and behavioral support. You will have access to resources and collaboration, including a supportive in-person network (special education, paraeducators, and assistants), and ongoing virtual and monthly meetings with a wider SLP team of a dozen professionals—even as you carry your own caseload independently.
