Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota SLP license required
- Experience working in school settings or with school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet a range of mild to moderate disabilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services 4 days a week at two elementary schools for students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Provide support 1 day per week across the district addressing a broader range of student needs
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments, maintain up-to-date documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Educate and guide teachers, staff, and families on speech/language strategies and accommodations
