Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure for practicing in educational settings
- Experience delivering speech therapy in schools strongly preferred
- Confidence using teletherapy platforms and integrating technology into treatment
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to collaboration and individualized care planning
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students of varying ages
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Deliver therapy services in-person and through teletherapy as appropriate
- Accurately document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure cohesive support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
