Preferred experience and qualifications:
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license in Minnesota
- Credentials as SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY welcomed
- Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based caseloads
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt to on-site, virtual, or hybrid work as needed
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the multidisciplinary team
- Deliver engaging speech and language therapy sessions tailored to student goals
- Document progress, maintain records, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement in and out of the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and guidance on student needs
