Key Qualifications:
- Current or pending SLP state licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-based speech-language therapy
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within required timelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services, progress notes, and evaluations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions
- Adapt interventions for delivery on-site, online, or in a hybrid setting, as needed
