Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
- Previous experience with school-aged populations or pediatrics is desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and Medicaid billing processes is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret evaluation results
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, families, and other specialists
- Document therapy progress and maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP planning
- Develop and share resources to support classroom communication goals
