Your expertise will be vital as you manage an estimated caseload of 60 students, adapting to different school environments while building strong relationships with both students and staff.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Florida DOH SLP Licensure required
- Eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience with school-aged populations or similar pediatric settings preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work confidently across multiple school sites (itinerant travel)
- Successful completion or eligibility for required fingerprints; familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Communicate with teachers and families to support student development
- Adapt to diverse learning environments across Pre K-12 settings
This is a full-time, on-site role (not open to virtual/remote work) beginning in August and running through May. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
