Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure required
- Eligibility and readiness to begin Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Willingness to travel between multiple school sites on a weekly basis
- Ability to effectively manage an estimated caseload of 60 students (varies by site)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Must complete fingerprinting as per state and district protocols; familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse is beneficial
- Must secure a JLA badge prior to start (processing time may take up to 10 business days)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students from Pre-K through 12th grade with a variety of needs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Support students in both mainstream and specialized school environments
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing compliance and documentation requirements
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student growth
