As a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CF), you'll provide essential speech and language services to PreK-12 students with a variety of mild to moderate needs. Key Qualifications:
- Hold active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure
- Eligible for or completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents
- Capacity to support a dynamic caseload (~60 students; subject to confirmation), across itinerant school assignments
- Ability to complete Florida school district fingerprinting process swiftly, including AHCA Clearinghouse verification and JLA badge acquisition
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver high-quality, on-site speech and language therapy to PreK-12 student populations
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mild to moderate speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) therapy goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed to provide consistent services and consultation
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school and state policies
This assignment provides an immersive onsite experience—remote (VOCO) work is not available. Full support will be provided throughout the credentialing, onboarding, and placement process. You’ll gain valuable exposure to a diverse student body and collaborate with dedicated professionals, all while advancing your clinical fellowship year in a supportive environment.
