In this on-site–only setting, you will be assigned to multiple school locations within Palm Beach County, with assignments tailored to create a full-time caseload across varied age groups and student needs. Key Requirements:
- Active Florida provisional SLP license through the Department of Health.
- Recent fingerprinting for Florida schools (or eligibility to verify/re-print as needed through the AHCA Clearinghouse).
- Completion of an internal eligibility interview (video interview scheduling provided).
- Passion for working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team.
- Open exclusively to SLP-CFs; SLPAs are not being considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to students, with caseloads and age groups depending on assignment location.
- Maintain detailed service logs, progress notes, and Medicaid documentation in accordance with district and federal guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with general educators and special service teams.
- Take initiative with ongoing professional development and respond proactively to supervisory feedback.
- Adapt to scheduling across multiple campuses and help foster inclusive learning environments.
