Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity near Lake Worth, FL, supporting students’ communication and language development as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF). This full-time, on-site contract runs from August 10, 2026, to May 27, 2027, across multiple school locations in the area. Anticipate working 35 hours per week (7 hours per day) with a variety of age groups—caseload specifics will be aligned with your skills and confirmed before your assignment.
As an SLP-CF, you’ll be guided by experienced supervisors to help you complete your fellowship, with no need to seek outside supervision. You will join a collaborative, engaged team of educators and specialists committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of children throughout the school year.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current FL provisional SLP license (Department of Health)
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) year; this opportunity does not accept SLPAs or CCC-SLPs
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations within the county
- Completion of Department of Health fingerprinting (assistance provided with status validation through the AHCA Clearinghouse)
- Flexibility to handle diverse caseloads and collaborate with other school professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and families
- Documenting student progress and maintaining timely records
- Participating in IEP meetings and professional development
- Engaging with students across various age groups, tailoring interventions to their needs
