Your qualifications and desired experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (completion or pending conferral)
- Eligibility for Florida State Licensure as an SLP-CFY
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage your caseload and schedule independently
- Effective communicator, both with colleagues and students’ families
- Eagerness to learn in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment
Key responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services for children in an educational setting under supervision
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage with families, sharing progress and strategies for language development at home
