Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Oregon licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus
- Ability to build rapport with students, educators, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Deliver individual and group therapy to students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other support staff
- Communicate progress and strategies to families and staff
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
