School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Cartersville, Georgia

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility in Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Recent experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Strong clinical skills in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in a diverse school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), and deliver speech and language therapy to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Adapt therapy sessions to address a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and student support discussions
- Provide guidance and training to staff and families on communication strategies
- Stay informed about current best practices and continuing education in your field
