Desired Qualifications:
- Active NM Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school settings is preferred
- Adaptable communication style and ability to work with varying student ages and needs
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Willingness to travel between multiple sites as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language deficits
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents for student support and progress monitoring
- Complete necessary documentation and maintain compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Participate in school-based meetings and provide insights to educational teams
