Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mashpee, MA
Step into a rewarding contract assignment supporting local students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, covering a colleague’s medical leave from October 26 through December 22. This opportunity focuses on empowering K–3rd grade learners and making a real difference in their communication success at a single, welcoming school site.
Your structured workweek runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a dedicated lunch break from 12:00–12:30 PM. For optimal work-life management, you’ll also have an extra half-hour reserved for report writing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You’ll work closely with a manageable caseload of 26 students, delivering focused and effective therapy and collaboration.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start
- Experience providing SLP services in a school setting strongly preferred
- Compassionate communicator dedicated to supporting young learners
- Skilled in preparing and maintaining thorough, insightful reports
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K–3rd grade students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and help develop IEPs for each student
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
- Support a positive, inclusive learning environment
