Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or pending state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups, adapting techniques to student needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, compliant records and documentation
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with evidence-based practices
