Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Massachusetts
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible CFY status
- Recent experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and caregivers
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy services and adjust strategies as needed for progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student assessments, progress notes, and IEP updates
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educators to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in professional development as required
