Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license and certification (or eligibility) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFY candidates encouraged
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop therapy goals, and document progress
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement IEPs
- Provide training and support to classroom staff and family members to reinforce therapy objectives
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach to student development
