Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Chesapeake, VA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school environment is advantageous
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each learner’s needs
- Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create a supportive environment for student progress
- Track progress through data collection and maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and district standards
