Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (Virginia or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Pediatric and school-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to inclusive and supportive educational practices
Required Credentials/Certifications:
- Valid, current state SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC) or current CFY enrollment
- Department of Education or school-based clearances as required
Job Details:
- Contract position starting August, through June
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Elementary and middle school caseload, approximately 35 students
- Focus on both assessment and direct services, with collaborative IEP participation
- Bilingual candidates encouraged, though fluency is not required
