- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Virginia as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in school-based settings or relevant clinical placements
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to tailor interventions for a wide range of student needs and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry a mixed caseload of K-12 students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions both individually and in groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate case records and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
