Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to create individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Deliver direct therapy services both one-on-one and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
