Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow considered
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively serve a mixed caseload across K-12 grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary, middle, and high school students based on individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and other related service providers to support student success
- Serve as a resource for staff and parents regarding language, articulation, and communication strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development
