Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure valid for practicing in Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but clinical fellows are also encouraged to apply
- Experience with school-aged populations (K-12); comfortable handling a mixed caseload
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and coordinate with teachers and parents
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary, middle, and high school students
- Complete assessments and re-evaluations to determine speech and language needs
- Develop and update IEPs, tracking student progress towards established goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Offer both individual and small-group therapy based on student requirements
