Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Newport News, VA

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Virginia
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing diverse caseloads that span various age groups and needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school documentation systems is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
