Requirements and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure (Virginia or eligible for reciprocity)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience with pediatric caseloads, preferably in school settings
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with educators, parents, and support teams
Position Details:
- Travel SLP assignment in a school-based setting
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: End of academic year (with potential for extension)
- 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (exact schedule based on district)
- Caseload: Elementary to early high school-aged students (ages 5-16)
- Average number of students: 30-45
- Duties include assessment, therapy, IEP meetings, documentation, and collaboration with teams
