Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY candidates encouraged to apply)
- Experience with pediatric populations in school-based settings highly valued
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing evidence-based interventions for a diverse range of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable goals
- Provide direct therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Work closely with teachers and staff on intervention strategies and classroom support
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage families in the therapeutic process and provide resources as needed
