Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience working with students in K-12 school environments is highly valued
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for fostering student success and development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders
- Design and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain comprehensive progress reports, IEP documentation, and required records
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer insightful recommendations
- Support compliance with state and federal special education regulations
